To protect our land and ensure long-term food security, TX-17 must embrace environmentally responsible farming practices. J. Gordon Mitchell will:
- Fund regenerative agriculture practices that restore soil health, conserve water, and increase climate resilience.
- Promote sustainable farming education and incentives to help farmers transition to practices that reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Support research and innovation in sustainable agriculture tailored to the unique needs of our region.
